How to Create and Implement a Digital Movie Project
In creating a Digital Moviemaking Project, there are two distinct steps:
Step 1: Planning the Activity
In this stage, classroom curriculum should drive the project. What content and/or process topics do you need to address? What skills/concepts/information do you want your students to come away with? How would you set up the activity to ensure that students have the necessary pedagogical, technical, and learning support to complete the task? For suggestions on how to get the planning process started, click here.
Step 2: Implementing the Activity
In this stage, the necessary student scaffolding and technical resources should be provided to assist students in completing the project. Storyboard templates, revision strategies, technology tutorials, and many more tools for assistance are available here.
Please visit the Project Resources page for additional resources for student scaffolding, technical support, general resources, places to publish digital stories, moviemaking contests, and links to digital storytelling projects and site.
